Christmas vacation
We are home from our week long adventure to visit with my parents, siblings, cousins, friends, and grandparents. We did so many things and saw so much that I need to make these pictures very small. Just click on a picture to see it in full size.
As soon as we arrived to rushed to get our teeth cleaned. Cal was a stellar patient as grandma checked his teeth.
We then went on a long drive to see my cousins and their son Little T. The drive was longer than our plane ride earlier that morning. Cal made sure that we knew he was displeased. While visiting with Little T the boys went on a "boat", Lissi drove a "car", and we all rode on a "horse".

When we went back to grandma's house, Cal was thrilled to ride a BART train (he was so excited about how many "freight" cars they had) and stand in front of a Cable Car (no riding for us). Uncle M tried to win Lissi over to the Yankees.

Christmas morning contained lots of fun in jammies. Some activities included dancing, talking on Uncle M's Blackberry phone, and (of course) opening gifts! Fun gifts included a VTech computer, Aquadooodle mat, Gordon the train, soft baseball bat and ball, books, movies, sports bottles, and a Hello Kitty backpack.

We posed for group pictures just as more family descended on the house for Christmas dinner. The picture of the 4 of us is hilarious because the kids were both just starting to eat with the same hand and the same time without prompts. I call it "synchronized eating".

Post holiday fun included playing at the park with grandma (and feeding the ducks "quack quack"), hanging out with friends Ph and family, and Lissi's 1st visit with her great grandparents.

The trip home was a bear because of a 2 hour delay for our flight. But as impatient as we were, the kids did great and enjoyed running around the airport.
It was a good visit with family and friends. It was an especially meaningful holiday since it was Lissi's first Christmas at home.
