Clean bill of health!

We visited the Pediatric Cardiologist today Lissi has been told her heart has officially healed. She no longer has the small hole (ASD) that was diagnosed 3 weeks after her birth!

With the help of a Baby Einstein movie, Lissi eventually stopped screaming and had a cardiac ultrasound. The doctor found no more hole, no more murmur, and no differences with the aorta (all small concerns found in Korea). I always thought she would outgrow these conditions but it is a real relief to actually see the test results. Praise God!

I tried to get Cal interested in watching his sister's beating heart. But he was too entranced by the baby movie. When he came home he did, however, color a diagram of the heart (future doctor? I doubt it).

Lissi missed her nap and her lunch and had to go to her PCP's office to get her 12 month immunizations (which were not administered at her 12 month appointment due to an oversight). There were so many shots (5) and she was in such a bad mood that they did half of the shots and she'll have to come back in a few weeks. She's been in a bad mood ever since. :(
