Gum brushing

When Cal was young, I created a song to sing while brushing his teeth. I knew that as he learned this song, the whole process would get easier because he would anticipate the length of time that we would be brushing. Also, it would give him a self-timer when he learns to brush his own teeth. The song is to the tune of "Allouette" and goes: "Brush you teethies, now we brush your teethies, brush your teethies, make them nice and clean..." When Lissi came home we started to use the toothbrush with her, even though she initially had no teeth. We realized that this song was no longer applicable so we modified the words: "Brush your gummies, now we brush your gummies, brush your gummies, make them nice and clean..." Now Cal likes the song so much that we sing it to him too!
